JECONS: Journal of Economic Sciences invites academics and researchers to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published. All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
General Manuscript Requirements
· Font: Use Times New Roman, size 12 pt.
· Line Spacing: The manuscript must use 1.15 line spacing.
· Alignment: Text should use justify alignment.
· Paragraph Indentation: The beginning of each paragraph must have a 1.27 cm indentation.
Title and Author Identity
· Title: Written in 15 pt Times New Roman, Centered, Bold, and using Capitalize Each Word.
· Author Name: Provide full names without academic titles.
· Affiliation: Include the institutional affiliation for all authors.
· Corresponding Author: Must include a valid email address.
Abstract and Keywords
· Language: Abstract must be provided in both English and Indonesian (Abstrak).
· Length: Limited to a maximum of 250 words.
· Format: Written in a single paragraph without citations or abbreviations.
· Content: Must include a brief introduction (context and significance), research objectives, methodology, and a summary of results.
· Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords, separated by commas.
Main Body Structure
· Introduction: Provide background information, the research problem, objectives, and hypotheses.
It should identify research gaps and situating the study within the broader academic field.
· Methods: Describe the strategies, data sources, and analytical methods used.
This section should be precise, succinct, and written in the past tense to allow for replication.
· Result and Discussion: * Results: Outcomes should be organized logically, reported objectively, and remain free from interpretation.
· Discussion: Interpret findings, explain their significance compared to existing studies, and highlight new insights.
· Conclusion: Synthesize essential findings and their implications rather than just repeating the problem.
Authors may highlight limitations and suggest future research directions.
· Author Contributions: Explicitly state the roles and responsibilities of each individual author for transparency and accountability.
Special Formatting (Direct Quotes, Quran, and Hadith)
· Long Quotes: Direct quotes exceeding four lines must be formatted in 12 pt font with single spacing.
· Quranic Verses: Must include the surah name, surah number, and verse number in parentheses, e.g., (Q.s. al-Baqarah [2]: 183).
· Hadith: Must mention the name of the narrator, e.g., (H.r. al-Bukhâri and Muslim).
Tables and Figures
· Figures: Embedded within the text with descriptive captions placed below the figure.
Sources must be cited in brackets directly beneath the caption.
· Tables: Inserted within the text with a concise title positioned above the table.
Sources should be listed directly below the table.
Bibliography and Citations
· All references must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style.
· Ratio: At least 70% of references should come from scientific journals (primary literature) and 30% from other sources.
· Reference Manager: Authors are preferred to use Mendeley, though EndNote or Zotero are also acceptable.
· Organization: The list must be arranged alphabetically by author name.
